In honor of the first day of this wonderful month, we decided to get out to the halls of Hunter College and prank the poor unsuspecting students (see the video for the story). We also put up phony flyers and spread some rumors down various grapevines. The results so far: people are watching and talking! April fools (and I think pranks in general) are a great opportunity to get the college community bonding. I'll update you guys soon on how many views the video gets on our site and on YouTube.

This is a great idea. I also love that it has a purpose and not just a prank. I wish I would've thought about this as it seems like a great way to draw in more random folk to student activities. Next year I guess!

Thanks, Sandra! I'm still trying to figure out how to use a similar approach without waiting for next year. We're thinking of doing mini-reality TV episodes in the near future. I'll let you know how it turns out. Let me know if you think of anything!
